LensSentinel ("LensSentinel," "we," "us," or "our") is an on-device privacy inspection assistant. This Privacy Policy explains how LensSentinel handles information when you use the iOS app.
LensSentinel may process the following information locally when you choose to use the corresponding feature.
The infrared-light and lens-reflection tools use the rear camera to display a live preview and assist with visual inspection. Camera frames are processed in memory on your device. LensSentinel does not take or save photos or videos, write camera frames to your photo library, or upload camera content.
The Bluetooth tool scans for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy broadcasts that iOS makes available to the app. Locally processed information may include an advertised device name, an iOS-provided temporary identifier, signal strength, signal-reception count, advertised service information, and the size of manufacturer data. LensSentinel does not obtain a device's Bluetooth MAC address and does not upload scan results.
When you start a local-network scan, LensSentinel uses Apple's local-network and Bonjour APIs to find services visible on the Wi-Fi network you are currently using. Locally processed information may include a service name, service type, and the app's on-device classification of that service. LensSentinel does not upload this information.
